2001年4月，世界领先的汽车公司——福特汽车和中国的百年企业——长安汽车，共同签约成立了长安福特汽车有限公司（长安福特），并于2003年初正式投产。长安福特总部位于重庆，现有二大生产基地，分别位于重庆、杭州，是一家具有传统油车及新能源汽车，集开发、制造和销售于一体的大型综合性现代化汽车企业。

In April 2001, Ford, a world-leading automobile company, and Changan, a century-old Chinese enterprise, jointly signed an agreement to establish Changan Ford Automobile Co., Ltd. (Changan Ford), which officially went into production in early 2003. Changan Ford is headquartered in Chongqing and currently has two major production bases in Chongqing and Hangzhou. It is a large-scale comprehensive modern automobile company capable of development, manufacturing and sales of both traditional ICE vehicles and NEVs.
